Xiaomi Redmi Y1
Xiaomi Redmi Y1 smartphone was launched in November 2017. The phone comes with a 5.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels. Xiaomi Redmi Y1 price in India starts from Rs. 8,999. The Phone is powered by 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor and it comes with 3GB of RAM. The phone packs 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Xiaomi Redmi Y1 packs a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 16-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
The Xiaomi Redmi Y1 runs Android 7.0 and is powered by a 3080mAh non removable battery. It measures 153.00 x 76.20 x 7.70 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 153.00 grams. The Xiaomi Redmi Y1 is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, Infrared, USB OTG, FM, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Redmi phones, since the time of their inception here in India, have been all about low costs and noteworthy hardware. The Redmi Y1, however, is about low costs, noteworthy hardware, and an extra ounce of selfie-taking goodness. The Redmi Y1 looks like a stretched out Redmi 4A. It comes with an all-plastic body and curved 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top of its screen. While I would have liked an all-metal body considering that the Redmi 4 that retails at the same price as the Redmi Y1 comes with one a metal body or the lack of it isn't necessarily a deal breaker. What's important and surprising is that the Redmi Y1 is beautiful and ergonomic. It's a good looking plastic phone. And it certainly feels nice when you hold and use it.
